Match free pairs of chunky tiles on stacked 3D boards: 120 levels in eight cozy worlds.
Benerits
Tile Pairs is a mahjong-style solitaire tile-matching puzzle for one player, set on a low lacquered tea table in a cozy 3D tea house. Chunky ivory tiles are stacked in layers in the middle of the table, with a teapot, cups and other props that change by world. Each tile shows a picture, such as jade dots, bamboo sticks, red numerals, suns, fish or pines. Tap two matching tiles to lift them off the board, and clear every tile to win.
The key rule is which tiles are free. A tile is free when nothing sits on top of it and its left or right side is open, and only free tiles can be picked. The order you choose decides whether the stack comes apart cleanly or leaves matching tiles buried under each other. Every deal is built from a checked solution, so each level can be cleared.
The campaign has 120 levels in eight worlds of fifteen. Tea House teaches the basics on low stacks. Bamboo Grove adds tiles resting across two below, taller towers and gold coin tiles worth extra coins. In the Koi Pond the four flowers match each other, and so do the four seasons. Lantern Night hides the faces of covered tiles until they become free, Snow Pavilion has frozen tiles that thaw one step with every match, Maple Hills ties tiles shut with ribbons that open when you match the key pair of the same colour, and Star Observatory has firework pairs that clear one more pair by themselves. Blossom Garden mixes everything on the biggest boards. Every fifth level is a challenge with a tight par time, and every fifteenth is a large boss layout.
Each level gives up to three stars: one for clearing it, one for beating the par time and one for using no hints or shuffles. Coins from levels and gold tiles buy eight tile sets and six table cloths. Some tips: work on tall stacks and long rows first, because tiles there block the most others. When three or four copies of a picture are free, pick the pair that uncovers new tiles. On Snow Pavilion and Maple Hills boards, plan your matches so frozen tiles and ribbons open before you need them. If no free tiles match, you can shuffle what is left, take a hint, or undo a move.
A new Daily Deal board waits every day, with bonus coins. The only time pressure is the optional par star. It plays in the browser with mouse, touch or keyboard, on desktop and on phones and tablets in portrait or landscape.
