Reversi with flower buds on a floating 3D garden: 120 levels, 8 seasons, endgame puzzles.
Benerits
Reversi Garden is the classic board game reversi played with flower buds on a floating 3D garden island. You plant a bud so that a straight line of your opponent's buds sits between it and one of yours, across, down or diagonally, and the whole line blooms into your colour. If you have no legal move you pass, and when the garden is full or neither side can move, the side with more buds wins.
The campaign runs through eight seasons of fifteen levels each, each with its own host family and board trick. Spring Meadow uses classic rules, starting on a 6x6 board before moving to 8x8. Tulip Terrace introduces endgame puzzles. Lily Pond adds stones that stop lines, Sunflower Field has golden squares where a bud counts twice, and Autumn Orchard plays on shaped plots up to 10x10. Mushroom Hollow has mushroom squares where a planted bud can never be flipped, Winter Glade has frost squares that can't be played until they thaw after a number of turns, and Lantern Night brings the tricks back in pairs against the strongest opponents.
Most levels are a full game against a garden critter host, from a sleepy bunny to a lamplighter cat, whose play grows stronger through the campaign, from shallow and mistake-prone to searching several moves ahead and solving endgames exactly. Solver-verified puzzle levels start near the end of a game: the host plays perfectly, and you need the exact line that wins by the target margin. The fifteenth level of each season is a match against the season champion, such as King Ribbit or Professor Nightfeather, on that season's signature board. A win earns one star, and wider margins earn two or three. Later seasons open with enough total stars.
Some tips. Corners can never be taken back, so aim for them and be careful about playing next to an empty corner. Stones and shaped plots create new corners. Fight for golden squares, use mushroom squares to anchor lines that can't be flipped, and keep track of when frost will thaw. Flipping lots of buds early is often less useful than limiting the moves your opponent has. Each level gives two free hints that show the best move, and outside the daily board you can undo.
Petals from wins and stars buy bud styles such as tulip, rose and lotus, and board themes in the Seed Shop. The Daily Garden offers one board a day mixing two tricks, with a streak for coming back. It runs in the browser with mouse, touch or keyboard, on desktop and on phones and tablets in portrait or landscape.
Tap one of the glowing seed marks to plant a bud; they show you every legal move. Your host then plays by the same rules. Wins by bigger margins earn up to three stars.
Stars open new seasons, and petals buy bud styles and board themes in the Seed Shop. A Daily Garden board mixes two tricks every day, with a streak for coming back.
They share the same rules: you flip your rival's pieces by trapping them between yours, and whoever has more at the end wins. Reversi Garden plays it with flower buds.
In Reversi Garden every level is played against a computer-controlled garden host, with rivals getting stronger as you go.
