Aim, bank off the walls and pop glossy candy bubbles across 160 levels in eight worlds.
Benerits
Bubble Pop is a bubble shooter with glossy candy bubbles hanging from the top of a small tray. You fire bubbles from a clay launcher pot at the bottom, bank shots off the side walls and land each one next to bubbles of its own colour. Three or more of a kind pop, and anything left hanging with nothing to hold it drops for bonus points. Each colour also carries its own symbol, so the bubbles are easy to tell apart.
A dotted guide shows your path and a ghost bubble marks where the shot will stick. You can swap the loaded bubble with the next one when the colour does not fit. Most levels ask you to clear the board, some to free little critters trapped inside bubbles, and the boss levels pit you against the Gumdrop Golem, who takes damage from every bubble you pop or drop while pushing new rows in. You lose if you run out of shots or the bubbles reach the line at the bottom.
The campaign has 160 levels across eight worlds of twenty, and each world adds a new kind of bubble: stones that never pop and can only be dropped, frozen bubbles that crack when a neighbour pops, bombs that go off when a pop touches them, rainbow bubbles that match any colour, mystery bubbles whose colour stays hidden until a neighbour pops, shifters that change colour after every shot, and thorns that destroy any bubble that touches them. Levels 10 and 15 of each world are pressure levels where rows push in every few shots. Every level was played by a bot to set a fair shot budget.
A few tips. Dropping is worth more than popping, since each dropped bubble scores double, so aim for the bubbles that hold up big clusters. Bank shots off the walls reach spots a straight shot cannot. Use the swap to save a colour for a better place instead of wasting a shot. On boss and pressure levels, keep the board short, because new rows keep coming. Every unused shot adds points, and stars depend on how many shots you have left.
Coins buy boosters, Fireball, Rainbow, Bomb and a Long aim that shows the full path with every bounce, plus new bubble finishes and launcher pots. Endless mode pushes in a new row every few shots, faster over time, and adds colours as you go. Your stars and coins are saved between sessions, and you can play with a mouse, keyboard or touch in any orientation.
