Push crates onto gold marks in a cozy 3D warehouse: 120 puzzles with ice, gates, chutes.
Benerits
Crate Keeper is a 3D sokoban puzzle game set in a small warehouse built like a miniature diorama. You are the keeper: walk the aisles and push every crate onto a gold mark on the floor. You can push crates but never pull them, so a crate shoved into a corner or flat against a wall may be stuck there for good.
The campaign has 120 levels in eight rooms of fifteen: the Loading Dock, Cold Storage, the Sorting Room, the Mail Room, the Old Cellar, the Conveyor Hall, the Night Shift and the Grand Depot. Each room introduces one idea. Crates on ice keep sliding until they reach dry floor or bump into something, while the keeper's boots grip. A crate resting on a plate opens the gate of the same colour, and only crates press plates. Mail chutes send crates, and you, out of their twin. A crate pushed into a hole fills it and becomes floor. Conveyors only let you and your crates in along their arrows. The Night Shift puts two ideas in every room, the Grand Depot mixes up to three, and the last level of each room is a bigger delivery. Finishing ten levels in a room opens the next one.
Every level was checked by a solver, so there is always a way through, and each has a par move count. Finish at or under par for three stars, or within one and a half times par for two. Undo is unlimited, and even a restart can be undone. A hint shows the next pushes from wherever you stand as glowing footprints, and you start with three free hints. Coins from new stars buy keeper outfits and crate styles, from a pine crate to a tea chest, and the daily delivery gives everyone the same fresh warehouse each day, with a streak counter.
A few habits make the puzzles easier. Before moving, look at each gold mark and work out which crate will end up there and from which side you will have to push it. Never push a crate into a corner that is not a mark, because you cannot get it out again. On ice, think about where a crate will stop, not where it starts. In the Sorting Room, remember that a gate closes again as soon as its plate is empty, so the order of your pushes matters. When the hint says there is no way out, undo a few steps rather than starting over.
Levels are short, which suits a quick break as well as a long session. Crate Keeper plays with keyboard, mouse or touch, on desktop and on phones and tablets in either orientation.
In each level you need to get every crate onto a gold mark. Finish at or under par for three stars. Undo is unlimited, restart can be undone too, and a hint shows the next pushes from wherever you stand.
