Grow your paint from the spring and fill a little island board before the moves run out.

Color Flood is a relaxed colour puzzle played on boards of thick, bevelled tiles that sit on small floating 3D island dioramas. Your paint starts on a spring tile. Each move you pick a colour: your whole patch turns that colour and swallows every touching tile of the same colour, so it spreads outward with every choice. The goal is to fill the whole board before the move limit runs out, and the fewer moves you use, the more stars you earn.
The campaign has 120 boards across eight islands of fifteen each, and every island adds a new kind of tile. The Meadow teaches the basics with four and then five colours. The Orchard brings shaped boards with holes. The Harbour has padlocked tiles that open when your paint touches them and then join by colour. The Workshop has paint bombs that colour the 3x3 area around them when swallowed, and the Mirror Garden has portals that let your paint flow out of a twin tile. Frost Peaks has frozen tiles that need two touches, the Carnival has chameleon tiles that change colour after every move, and the Star Summit mixes everything on the biggest boards. The last board on every island is a larger challenge board with a tighter limit.
Every board is solved in code when it is generated, so each one can be filled. The solver's move count becomes the par: three stars for finishing at par, two for finishing a little over it, and one for any finish within the limit. Paint drops from clears and unused moves buy new palettes and tile styles. A daily board, the same for everyone, mixes every tile type and gives a bigger reward for each day in a row you play it.
Some tips. Hover over a paint pot or tile to preview which tiles it would take. It usually pays to grow toward the centre and the largest unclaimed areas first, so later moves swallow more tiles at once. Touch padlocked and frozen tiles early, since opening them costs extra moves, and on the Carnival boards catch chameleon tiles on the move when they match your patch. If you are stuck, a hint highlights the solver's best colour, and R restarts the board.
Each colour carries its own printed mark (stripes, dots, slashes, rings, crosses or triangles), so you can play by shape as well as by colour, which makes Color Flood friendly to colour-blind players. Boards are limited by moves, not a clock. It runs in the browser with mouse, touch or keyboard, on desktop and on phones and tablets, with layouts adjusted for portrait phones and short landscape screens.
Pick a colour by tapping a paint pot or any tile on the board. With a mouse, hover a colour or a tile to see exactly which tiles it would take. Use that preview to find the move that grows your patch the most, now and a move or two later.
