A warm arcade racer: drift, chain perfect nitros and fly through five little places.
Cozy Circuit is an arcade 3D racer through five toy-like places: Gullwing Bay, a harbour village with a tunnel under the headland; Maple Pass, an autumn forest with a covered bridge and a big crest jump; Sunstone Canyon, with a jump across a dam spillway; Snowbell Village, a snowy town with an icy shortcut over the lake; and Lantern City, with canals and a bridge over its own road. Every track has a grand loop and a reverse layout, each in a different light.
The career has 128 events over eight seasons of 16. Seasons open with stars, each introduces a new event type, and each ends with a duel against a named rival who hands over their car if you win. Besides races there are time trials against a ghost, drift challenges, speed traps, takedown rushes, eliminations where the last car drops out every few seconds, and knockout cups of three races where the slowest go home. Each event has three star goals, such as a top-three finish, a win or a target time or score.
Driving is about flow and nitro. Holding a drift through a corner fills the nitro bar, and big air off crests and overtakes add a little more. Tap nitro again while the bar glows to chain a Perfect nitro, up to three levels; the third sends out a shockwave that shoves nearby rivals aside. Hit nitro right as the countdown reaches GO for a perfect start. Tuck in behind a rival for slipstream, squeeze past for near misses and ram the pack for takedowns.
Some practical advice: drift into corners instead of braking, since sliding keeps the nitro coming; save a chained nitro for straights; in drift challenges stay off the walls, because a wall hit loses the slide; and if an event's suggested performance rating is above your car's, upgrade first. Coins buy ten cars, from a hatchback to a hypercar, each with six upgradable parts, and the paint shop offers five finishes, two-tone, rims, decals, numbers and underglow. A new Daily Race pays double for your first finish, and Quick Race lets you pick any track.
Signed-in players can race real people online: a Quick Race for up to six with bots filling the grid, a 1v1 duel, a four-car Drift Battle won by the biggest drift score, and a four-car Knockout where the last car is out every lap. Online every car performs the same, your paint job comes along, and private rooms with a code let friends pick the track, layout and laps. Keyboard, gamepad and touch are supported, with optional tilt steering and automatic acceleration on phones.
The career opens event by event. Each event has three star goals, such as finishing in the top three, winning, or finishing ahead of a named rival, and stars unlock new seasons. The event card shows a recommended PR. If your car is falling behind, upgrade the engine, turbo, tires, suspension, weight and gearbox in the garage.
In time trials a blue ghost drives at three-star pace. In drift challenges long, fast, wide slides score the most, and hitting a wall wastes the slide. Quick Race lets you pick the track, layout and number of rivals yourself.
