Nonogram Nook is a picture logic puzzle game set on a wooden desk in a small reading nook. The numbers beside each row and above each column list the runs of filled squares in that line, in order. Fill the squares you can prove, cross out the ones that must stay empty, and a hidden picture appears line by line. When every line matches, the tiles recolour into the finished drawing and rise off the board as a little diorama.
There are 160 puzzles in eight albums of 20; each album opens after 12 solves in the one before. Tea Corner starts with 5 by 5 to 10 by 10 warm-ups and tutorial tips. Garden Patch lets you drag to fill whole runs, Seaside brings wide and tall grids, and Woodland goes up to 15 by 15 with five-square guide lines. In Winter Cabin each puzzle has three hearts and a wrong fill costs one, while Starry Night has no mistake check at all. Harvest Market introduces two-colour puzzles where runs of different colours may touch, and Grand Gallery ends with framed 20 by 20 scenes. Every puzzle has exactly one answer and can be solved by logic alone, without guessing.
Stars reward clean solves: three for no mistakes and no hints, two for a couple of mistakes or a single hint, one for any finish. They pay out in buttons, which buy decorations for your nook, such as a sleepy cat, a radio, a globe, a garland and picture frames showing your latest solved pictures, plus board woods and ink colours. Every fifth puzzle in an album is a gold-framed showpiece worth extra buttons. You start with three hints and earn one per finished album; a hint first removes a wrong mark, otherwise it fills or crosses a few cells where the most can be worked out.
Start with the biggest clues: in a row 10 squares wide, a clue of 7 means the middle four squares are filled wherever the run starts. A line whose clues and gaps add up to the full width can be filled straight away. Use crosses generously, because knowing where a run cannot go is often what unlocks the next line.
A fresh patchwork quilt puzzle arrives every day with a streak counter, and extra quilts can be stitched in three sizes whenever you like. A session can be a single 5 by 5 puzzle or a long 20 by 20 scene. The game works on desktop with mouse or keyboard and on phones and tablets with touch, including pinch to zoom on large grids.
Start with what is certain: clues that fill most of a line tell you right away which squares must be filled. Fill those, cross out the squares that must stay empty, and use each result on the lines that cross it. Clean solves earn stars.
Buttons you earn decorate your nook: a sleepy cat, a radio, bunting, new board woods and ink colours. A fresh patchwork quilt puzzle waits every day, and you can stitch extra quilts in three sizes whenever you like.
