Knock clay tiles off a workbench with a wooden plank and a brass ball.
Benerits
Brick Atelier is a cozy 3D brick-breaker set on a craftsman's workbench. You slide a wooden plank along a brass rail and keep a brass ball bouncing into trays of clay tiles. Each knock peels one layer of clay off a tile, and a tray is cleared when every breakable tile is gone.
The campaign has 120 trays in eight workshop worlds of 15, each adding something new: soft clay at the Potter's Bench, iron plates that never break and coal bricks that blast their neighbours at the Glaze Kiln, rows sliding on brass rails in the Timber Loft, brass portals in the Clockwork Nook, glass the ball slices through and springy thread spools in the Glassworks, vines that regrow beside a standing neighbour in the Greenhouse, padlocked plates that open only after every gold key breaks in the Locksmith's Corner, and everything at once in the Master's Atelier, with clay up to four layers thick. The last tray of each world is a duel with a workshop object that woke up grumpy, from the Grumpy Teapot to the Spinning Wheel; hit it until it gives up, and dodge what it throws, because a hit stuns your plank.
Tiles with a red ribbon drop tools when they break: a wide plank, triple ball, slow ball, a honey plank that catches the ball, a chisel laser, kiln fire that burns straight through tiles, a safety rope, an extra ball or a few coins. You start each tray with three balls. Breaking tiles one after another without the ball returning to the plank builds a combo that multiplies the points for each tile. Every tray has three stars: clear it, don't drop a ball, and finish within the par time, which depends on how many hits the tray needs.
Some tips: the further from the centre the ball meets the plank, the sharper it leaves, so use the edges to reach corners. Bank shots off iron, set off coal bricks next to tough clusters, clear neighbouring vines together, and break the gold keys first on lock trays. When four or fewer breakable tiles remain, the ball bends gently toward the nearest one, except in boss trays and Kiln Rush.
Coins open new planks, balls and trails in the workshop, from walnut and marble planks to glass marbles, pearls and a rainbow ribbon trail. Kiln Rush is an endless mode in which a new row pushes down every few seconds until the rows reach the red line, and a fresh Daily Tray pays 60 coins each day. The game runs on desktop with mouse or keyboard and on phones and tablets with touch.
Slide the plank to keep the ball in the air. If the ball drops past the plank you lose it, and when all three are gone the game is over. Break every tile in a pattern to move on to the next one. Try to catch the tools that fall from tiles with your plank, but keep an eye on the ball.
The goal is the highest score you can reach. Chains of breaks and the tools that fall from tiles build your score quickly. Finishing the twelfth pattern doesn't end the game: the workshop starts again at a faster pace.
