Launch a flying roadster off a giant ramp or backflip it over parked cars.
Roadster Flip is a 3D stunt game set at a night test facility, with one flying electric roadster fitted with cold-gas thrusters. There are two ways to fly, and both end the same way: a controlled, gentle landing on a pad.
In Ramp Flip you race down the runway and hit a huge curved concrete ramp inside the target speed window. The ramp bends past vertical and throws the car off its lip upside down. You finish the flip with the side thrusters, level out with the belly thrusters and settle onto the landing pad. Touching down within 1.6 m of the pad centre, slower than 2.5 m/s and within 4 degrees of level counts as a PERFECT FLIP.
In Car Flip you roll up to a row of parked cars, sedans, pickups and a semi, lift off on the belly thrusters and trigger a slow-motion backflip over them. Then you bring the roadster down softly on the pad behind the row.
Twelve levels bring steeper overhangs, smaller pads, crosswinds and double flips. Every run is scored on five things: the flip, the landing spot, the touchdown speed, the landing angle and the gas you saved. Any run can be watched again as a cinematic slow-motion replay, with a chase camera, low ground shots and an orbit around the car.
Because the gas you save counts toward the score, it pays to thrust only as much as the landing needs. The perfect-flip limits on distance, speed and angle all apply at once, so level out before you touch down. Roadster Flip can be played with a keyboard or with on-screen touch buttons.
